Mars Bar choco­late kris pie squares

125g mar­garine or but­ter, soft­ened 4 Mars bars, sliced 200g Kel­logg’s Coco Pops

For the top­ping 400g milk choco­late, bro­ken up

1 tbsp sun­flower oil 2 Mars bars, sliced

1 Put the mar­garine or but­ter and 4 sliced Mars bars into a non-stick pan. Heat gen­tly, while stir­ring to com­bine. Pour in the Coco Pops and quickly stir, so they are evenly coated in the mix­ture. Turn the mix­ture into a greased 18cm x 28cm tin and press down so that the sur­face is level.

2 For the top­ping, put the milk choco­late and sun­flower oil into a bowl, rest­ing over a pan of sim­mer­ing water, and al­low it to melt. Stir to com­bine thor­oughly, then pour over the Coco Pops mix­ture in the tin. Ar­range the 2 Mars bar slices on top. Chill in the fridge then cut into 16 bars to serve.
