A scramble in the TS Galaxy goalmouth, with NRB’s Khulekani Madondo unable to get on the end of the cross during Sunday’s clash at the uMhlathuze Stadium.
LOOKING for a home win to lift themselves a few places up the log, Richards Bay FC were held to a 0-0 score line at the uMhlathuze Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
While they retain their unbeaten home record, the result was not a good one for the NRB team or their supporters.
The visitors probably had the better of the open play but were snuffed out every time they attacked, thanks to tight marking by the home defenders.
Lionel Saal and Moegamat Bernard were especially relentless in stripping the ball off their opponents, time after time.
To be honest, while NRB had the best of the attacking plays, both keepers were virtual spectators and the sides cancelled out each other, with the closest chances falling to the home side, especially in the latter stages.
Richards Bay will be away to TS Sporting on Saturday.
