They protect cells from the damage caused by free radicals associated with stress, a poor diet and environmental pollutants like cigarette smoke, among other things. Free radicals break down collagen and elastin, so increasing your antioxidant uptake will help you look and feel healthy during the inevitably stressful run-up to your wedding. To keep your skin healthy, choose products containing vitamin C, vitamin E, retinol, resveratrol, green tea and idebenone. Grapes, avos, figs, strawberries, apples, bananas, grapefruit and tomatoes are also great sources, but remember to watch those calories!
