Respect your elder(flower)s

A friend of mine served elderflower and soda water as a non-alcoholic drink option at her wedding recently, and it was so light and refreshing that it inspired me to run out and buy a bottle of cordial. It was R99 at Poetry and has no preservatives, flavouring or anything artificial in it, and makes for a nice substitute if you’re trying to cut down on your alcohol intake. Or spice up an old favourite with the elderflower tonic water at Woolies (about R70 for four) for a G&T with a difference. (Although that obviously defeats the purpose if you’re trying to skip the booze...) Liesl
