Say WHAT?
Research conducted at the University of Sussex showed that the pitch of a woman’s voice drops immediately after giving birth – British singer Adele reported a dramatic drop in pitch after she had her son in 2012. It usually returns to normal after about a year, but after menopause, the pitch of your voice tends to drop and stay there. This may be because your voice gets higher while you’re ovulating. Interestingly (and understandably in terms of evolution), research also shows that men prefer the voices of women who are ovulating.
