I love this Marmite tote (R220)! It’s part of the Jislaaik, Dis Lekker! range, a collaboration between Jislaaik online shop, Hartlam textiles and Malani Venter’s brand, Kaatjie Produkte.

Malani’s business began after her mom signed her up for a screen-printing course as a gift, and soon she was screen-printing her designs onto fabric. Her brand is named after one of her cats: ‘The name comes from this little fat black cat of mine that sits in the garage and watches me work.’

Nostalgia is at the core of the range’s concept: they create items like bags and cushions with well-known local household brands printed on them (think SteriStumpie and Anchovette).
