GRILLED GRAPES WITH VANILLA AND NUTS

SERVES 4 This rich, sweet dessert is a true delight and will surprise your guests. 1–2 bunches large thick-skin white grapes 2 vanilla pods 1 cup thick fresh cream 4 tbsp runny honey walnuts (whole or roughly crushed)

1. Place the bunches of grapes on the braai grid over a low heat. Holding them by the stem, turn regularly until the grapes are golden brown.

2. While the grapes are cooking, split the vanilla pods down the centre and scrape out the seeds. Stir them into the fresh cream.

3. When the grapes are ready, put them on a platter and serve with the vanilla cream, honey and crushed walnuts.
