Pa­prika chicken with chilli sauce

Chilli sauce can be made a day ahead; re­frig­er­ate in an air­tight con­tainer. To make the chicken eas­ier and faster to bar­be­cue, it is first flat­tened by re­mov­ing the back­bone – a cook­ing tech­nique known as spatch­cock­ing or but­ter­fly­ing.
