What is the most treasured item in your wardrobe? My wedding dresses: one is traditional and the other a white gown. I wore them only once almost three years ago, but I’m hoping to turn them into dresses I can wear somewhere special.

What is the one thing you’ll be shopping for this summer? A kimono. I love how versatile it can be.

What is your go-to look for work? Working from home has definitely changed the way we dress. Pre-Covid, my answer would have been different. Now it would definitely be a baby-doll dress or a shirt-dress: a one-item outfit to wear to my home office.

Where do you do most of your clothing shopping? I’m not loyal to any specific stores. If I happen to see something that catches my eye at a store, online or on Instagram boutiques, I go for it. Even charity shops – when an item speaks to my heart, I don’t care where it’s from.

Whose style inspires you, and why? A few people inspire me, but currently, Rorisang Thandekiso. Her style is versatile, bold and playful.

How do you feel about mixing prints? Love it! When it’s done right, it can take your look to the next level.

What kind of prints do you favour? Two prints with a solid or contrasting shape or texture. I also love African prints; they’ve gone from occasional outfits to everyday looks.

One item of clothing you own multiple versions of? Confession: I have more than one item that falls into this category! I have oversized shirts in white, pinstripes and multiple colours. And I have a weakness for plain short-sleeved maxidresses. I have them in many colours; they’re so simple to dress up or down.

What kind of jewellery do you like to wear? I love bold and bulky earrings, but most of the time my hair requires me to tone it down on the jewellery.

Heels or flats? Both! Give me heels or sneakers any day. That being said, I’m not a flat sandals or pumps kinda girl; I don’t think those are made for comfort.
