FW wins award for best biotech article
Farmer’s Weekly journalist Siyanda Sishuba was recently awarded the AfricaBio Best Article in Agri-Biotechnology by the Agricultural Writers SA.
Sishuba’s winning article, ‘New maize hybrid varieties approved for commercial use’
( FW, 19 October) discussed the development of hybrid maize varieties by the Agricultural Research Council that improved yield and pest tolerance.
