Twee Plus Brangus Stud Production Sale

Aliwal North – Flippie and Walter Kotze of Twee Plus Brangus Stud held their annual production sale on the farm Swartfonte­in, near Aliwal North, on 3 October.

The highest-priced Brangus bull, T+ 15 31, was sold for R140 000 to Morné Verster of Le Roc Brangus Stud in Tweespruit. The average price achieved for bulls sold at the auction was R46 000. Registered Brangus cows sold for an average price of R14 666 and commercial cows for R16 250. The average price paid for in-calf cows was R16 500, while cows with calves at foot sold for an average of R20 392.
