Noordwes Meatmaster Sale

Klerksdorp – The Noordwes Meatmaster Sale was held on the farm Mahemsvlei on 18 March.

The highest price of the day was achieved by a ram, which was sold by Nico Grobler of Kern Meatmaster­s in Ventersdor­p to Frits Hoogendijk of Bronkhorst­spruit for R12 000. Rams were sold for an average price of R6 500.

The second-highest price of the day was paid for a ewe, which was sold by Grobler to William Vosloo of Delareyvil­le for R7 750. Ewes achieved an average price of R3 680, while ewes and lambs were sold for an average price of R4 000.

Theuns Visser as the auctioneer.
