Molopo Ile de France Group Production Sale

Vryburg – The Molopo Ile de France Group Production Sale was held at the Boereplaas holiday resort on 5 June.

The highest price of the day was paid for a ram, which was sold by Bossie Clarke of Stanford to Gert van der Linde of Mareetsane for R34 000. Rams achieved an average price of R14 984.

The highest-priced ewe was sold by Clarke to DoSoois Landboudie­nste in Lephalale for R26 000. Ewes were sold for an average price of R16 000, while in-lamb ewes averaged R12 241. Ewes and lambs achieved an average price of R13 571.

COMMERCIAL

Ewes were sold for an average price of R3 196, in-lamb ewes achieved an average price of R3 856, and ewes with lambs were sold for average price of R5 000.
