E-toll model is flawed

-

Nazmeera Moola’s harping about “user pays” and e-tolling displays a lack of business acumen.

Regardless of principle, the e-toll business model is impractical. If your customer can’t, won’t or doesn’t pay for the product you’re selling, and the business has no practical means to collect, then it will fail. It really is that simple.

Ask Leonidas Kirkinis. (Or maybe not!) African Bank had a product customers wanted, and the business model failed. What chance then for a business with a product that (almost) no-one wants?

The e-toll business model is a stupid policy. Paul Ward, Pinetown
