Nissan’s Ghosn denies misconduct charges

In his first court appearance since his November arrest in Japan, former Nissan Motor co-chair Carlos Ghosn denied charges of concealing income from the carmaker. “I never received any compensati­on … that was not disclosed, nor did I ever enter into any binding contract with Nissan to be paid a fixed amount that was not disclosed,” he told the Tokyo district court.
