1. Mona Lisa for a roommate

Airbnb and the Louvre have offered consumers the chance to win a sleepover at the famous Parisian attraction. The special booking is part of Airbnb’s “Night At” franchise, a series of once-in-a-lifetime stays at famous locations. Previous “Night Ats” were held at Dracula’s castle, a Lego house, the Guinness storehouse in Dublin and Abbey Road Studios.

2. Adidas, Beyoncé ink deal

Adidas has teamed up with singer Beyoncé and will relaunch her Ivy Park brand, as it aims to attract more female consumers after rival Puma’s deal with Rihanna boosted sales. Adidas, Nike and Puma have all been trying hard to appeal to women since the rise of US chain Lululemon and the athleisure trend. Womenswear accounts for about a quarter of sales of the adidas brand.

3. Flooded with Coke

A neighbourh­ood in El Paso, Texas, was forced to clean up a sticky-sweet mess after a local Coca-cola facility accidental­ly flooded the streets with soda. The spill, which took place last Tuesday night, is said to have affected several blocks just south of the facility, and even seeped into homeowners’ yards and properties.

4. The break-up

Jeff Bezos, and his wife Mackenzie have agreed a record-breaking divorce settlement of at least $35bn. Mackenzie keeps a 4% stake in the online retail giant, worth $35.6bn on its own.

Amazon was founded by Jeff in Seattle in 1994, a year after the couple married, and Mackenzie was one of its first workers. The Amazon shares alone will make Mackenzie the world’s thirdriche­st woman while Jeff will remain the world’s richest person, Forbes says.
