Organ fantasy concert series

Some of the best organists in the country will be performing in George in a first-of-itskind concert series over three weeks. Starting on Thursday 24 May, the magnificen­t sound of the organ will emanate from George churches on three consecutiv­e Thursdays at 19:00. Louna Stofberg from Hermanus will be the first to perform, in the Dutch Reformed Mother Church on 24 May. On 31 May, enthusiast­s will have the opportunit­y to hear well-known organist Zorada Temmingh. The concert series will come to a close on Thursday 7 June in the St Mark's Cathedral with the organ duo Mario Nell and Winand Grundling.

Enthusiast­s will know that this is a very rare opportunit­y to hear so many excellent musicians and organists in George. You will also be glad to hear that there will be a discounted full series ticket for sale. Those who would like to attend all three concerts can purchase a concert series ticket for R250. Single tickets are available at R100 per person per concert.

This series will also be performed on Wednesdays in the Mossel Bay Dutch Reformed Church.
