Plastics for Africa celebrates 5 years

-

When Plastics for Africa opened in George five years ago, it offered mainly an impressive range of plastic ware.

It has since expanded and added several product lines that offer customers a tremendous variety of Industrial, Gift, Catering products, toys as well as braai accessories and equipment. The Industrial section offers various crates, 4x4 supplies, dog kennels and large storage containers (food grade). The Catering section offers an attractive range of party accessories, glassware (including Pyrex), bakeware and relevant equipment. In the Gift and Craft section, customers can pick and choose from some lovely small gifts as well as craft items and paint with which they can create their own gifts. Braai enthusiasts will love the braai section which offers mainly LK products including braai grids, grid cleaners and enamelware. For the little ones, the toy section is a huge attraction with an array of educational toys, puzzles, swings, tables, chairs, play houses and much more to explore.

The plasticware section, which put the business on the map, has something for almost any storage requirement, whether it is ordinary storage or food storage (BPA-free), plastic tables and chairs for home patios and also a variety of chairs for churches.

"A regular customer from Mossel Bay drives through to George every week just for the excellent service and variety of new products," says Hannelé Langiza, the store manager. "We also get a lot of positive feedback from our local customers. We really try to be helpful, so when we do not have stock available, we will order it because we do not want our customers to walk out empty-handed."

It is this dedication and their massive range of quality products that have made Plastics for Africa so successful and enabled it to expand within the first five years of its existence. "Drop in to experience what we offer. We are not just a plastic shop," says Hannelé.
