George (156 all out) recorded a nail-biting 11-runs victory against Union Stars (145 all out) at Bridgton on Saturday.

Hannes van Niekerk (48) and

Shane Smith (5/25) were the heroes for George.

Harlequins had a very successful weekend and recorded back to back victories on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday Harlequins (156 all out) defeated Mossel Bay (144 all out) by 12 runs and on Sunday they recorded a nail-biting 1- wicket victory against Knysna Cavaliers.

Ramblers (117/2) were too strong for Pacaltsdor­p United (115 all out) and won by 8 wickets. Andrew Calvert (55*) was the batting hero for the Rosemoor based team.
