Kodi junior victor ludorum
Royal Swimming Academy (RSA) athlete Kodi Minnie was awarded the prestigious junior victor ludorum trophy (age 12 and under) at the Eden Aquatics Long Course Championships held in Oudtshoorn last weekend.
The championship trophies are awarded for most individual points scored during the championships in all events. Achieving top points out of all age groups (boys), ten-year-old Kodi swam a total of twelve events, winning nine gold and three silver medals.
Kodi is a member of the RSA junior squad and trains under coach Mimette Royal Swimming Academy athlete Kodi Minnie was awarded the prestigious junior victor ludorum trophy at the Eden Aquatics Long Course Championships. Following this championship, the club boasts five swimmers who have qualified for the South African National Junior Championships (SANJ) and one who has qualified for the South African Youth Nationals.
Established in 2014, the Royal Swimming Academy now has over 160 swimmers from beginner / learn-to swim, through to its very own Masters swimmers. With four coaches, the club continues to grow from strength to strength and has swimmers competing regionally, nationally and internationally.
