Royal Swim­ming A­ca­de­my (RSA) athle­te Ko­di Min­nie was a­war­ded the pres­ti­gi­ous ju­ni­or vic­tor lu­dorum trop­hy (age 12 and un­der) at the E­den A­qua­ti­cs Long Cour­se Cham­pi­ons­hips held in Oudts­hoorn last wee­kend.

The c­ham­pi­ons­hip trophies are a­war­ded for most in­di­vi­du­al points sco­red du­ring the cham­pi­ons­hips in all e­vents. A­chie­ving top points out of all age groups (boys), ten-y­e­ar-old Ko­di swam a to­tal of twel­ve e­vents, win­ning ni­ne gold and three sil­ver me­dals.

Ko­di is a mem­ber of the RSA ju­ni­or squad and trains un­der co­ach Mi­met­te Royal Swim­ming A­ca­de­my athle­te Ko­di Min­nie was a­war­ded the pres­ti­gi­ous ju­ni­or vic­tor lu­dorum trop­hy at the E­den A­qua­ti­cs Long Cour­se Cham­pi­ons­hips. Sal­ter, who ex­pres­sed her pri­de for t­his ta­len­ted young swim­mer. Fol­lo­wing t­his c­ham­pi­ons­hip, the club bo­as­ts fi­ve swim­mers who ha­ve qua­li­fied for the South A­fri­can Na­ti­o­nal Ju­ni­or Cham­pi­ons­hips (SANJ) and one who has qua­li­fied for the South A­fri­can Youth Na­ti­o­nals.

Esta­blis­hed in 2014, the Royal Swim­ming A­ca­de­my now has o­ver 160 swim­mers from be­gin­ner / le­arn-to swim, through to its very own Mas­ters swim­mers. With four co­a­ches, the club con­ti­nues to grow from strength to strength and has swim­mers com­pe­ting re­gi­o­nal­ly, na­ti­o­nal­ly and in­ter­na­ti­o­nal­ly. The swim­mers of the Royal Swim­ming A­ca­de­my in Ge­or­ge who took part in the E­den A­qua­ti­cs Long Cour­se Cham­pi­ons­hips.
