Town leader tests for status

-

Sean Snyman, Portfolio Councillor for Community Development and Social Services, was one of the first people to get tested and learn his HIV status at a public stall last Thursday, 6 December. The George Municipality’s HIV/Aids subsection had a space in the ShopriteCheckers parking area to do HIV-testing for members of the public. The testing was done by Melanie Marthinus, manager of private healthcare at the Department of Health (centre front). Behind them are officials of the health department and George Municipality who helped during the day.
