The Hus­sar G­rill is re­gar­ded as one of South A­fri­ca's pre­mier g­rill rooms, kno­wn for out­stan­ding ste­aks, an a­ward-win­ning wi­ne se­lecti­on, su­perb ser­vi­ce and warm am­bien­ce.

The Hus­sar G­rill o­pe­ned its 18th g­rill room in Ju­ly 2018 and you'll find this wel­co­me ad­di­ti­on to the po­pu­lar Gar­den Rou­te town of Ge­or­ge in the Ca­le­don S­qua­re Li­fe­sty­le Cen­t­re.

The Hus­sar G­rill Ge­or­ge joins its fel­low g­rill rooms a­cross the coun­try in en­coura­ging you to in­dul­ge this fes­ti­ve se­a­son.

T­he­re are three spe­ci­al set me­nus to en­joy, e­ach of­fe­ring a three-cour­se me­al. Gu­e­sts may de­sign their di­ning ex­pe­rien­ce by choo­sing a star­ter, main cour­se and des­sert from a­mong the de­lec­ta­ble set me­nu op­ti­ons.

To start, choo­se from chic­ken li­vers, ca­la­ma­ri strips, snails, spring­bok car­pac­cio, black mushroom or a pra­wn and a­vo­ca­do cock­tail (se­a­so­nal) as an in­tro­ducti­on to your me­al.

For your main cour­se con­si­der a Class A rump or si­r­loin ste­ak, par­me­san chic­ken bre­as­ts, pork bel­ly, ribs, lamb shank, king­klip or ca­la­ma­ri. Fi­nal­ly, top off the ex­pe­rien­ce with a de­li­ci­ous des­sert such as ba­ked chee­s­e­ca­ke, crè­me brû­lée, mal­va pud­ding, cho­co­la­te fon­dant, cho­co­la­te vod­ka or i­ce­cre­am and cho­co­la­te sau­ce. The set me­nus are an ad­di­ti­on to an ex­ten­si­ve re­gu­lar me­nu that is al­so on of­fer upon re­quest.

As the Ge­or­ge ve­nue a­waits its li­quor li­cen­se, gu­e­sts are wel­co­me to bring their own wi­nes to en­joy at the re­stau­rant with their me­al. It must al­so be no­ted that e­ven w­hen this li­cen­se co­mes in­to play, the re­stau­rant will ne­ver char­ge corka­ge - in fact, no­ne of The Hus­sar G­rill re­stau­rants le­vy a corka­ge fee.
