Sun, sea and a lot of surf at Vic Bay
The top surfers from five coastal institutions took each other on at the University Sport South Africa (USSA) surfing championships that took place at Victoria Bay.
The competition was organised and hosted by the NMU George Campus for the seventh successive time. George campus sport manager, Hugo Loubser, said the competition is an excellent opportunity to establish and foster relationships within the university fraternity.
He thanked Surfing South Africa for creating a platform for students to showcase their talent. Stellenbosch University, the University of Cape Town, Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Varsity College and NMU are the institutions that took part. Hugo Redelinghuys was there to shoot the action.
