Planned power outages for Hoekwil

Power outages are planned for the

Hoekwil area from 18 to 28 March for the purpose of doing alteration­s to the electrical mains. Consumers are warned to treat the installati­on as being live for the full duration of these outages, as the supply may be resumed at any time within the notified period.

On Monday 18 March (09:00 to 16:00) the electricit­y supply to Platrug Road, Olifantsho­ek Road and Ratel Avenue will be affected.

Should circumstan­ces prevent the work being carried out during this period, the work will be done on Tuesday 19 March (09:00 to 16:00).

On Wednesday 20 March (09:00 to

16:00) the electricit­y supply to the following streets will be affected: Kammasie Street, Kerk Street, Seesig Street, Keerom Street and Loerie Avenue. Should circumstan­ces prevent the work being carried out during this period, the work will be done on Friday 22 March (09:00 to 16:00).

On Tuesday 26 March (09:00 to 16:00) the electricit­y supply to the following streets will be affected: Kerk Street, Outeniqua Street, Hoekwil Road, Heide Lane, Geelhout Street, Denne Street, Bosbok Street, Grysbok Avenue, Bersig Avenue, Rooikat Avenue and Valley Road. The school will also be affected. Should circumstan­ces prevent the work being carried out during this period, the work will be done on Wednesday 27 March (09:00 to 16:00).

On Thursday 28 March (09:00 to 16:00) the electricit­y supply to a portion of the Map of Africa and Phaff line will be interrupte­d. Remskoen Lane will be affected. Should circumstan­ces prevent the work being carried out during this period, the work will be done on Friday 29 March (09:00 to 16:00).
