Wanneer word pos weer afgelewer?

-

‘Ontevrede Poskantoorklant’, George:

The SA Post Office was allowed to open and operate during the start of Level 4 of the Covid regulations as prescribed by the President of the Republic of South Africa, President Cyril Ramaphosa. During Level 5, and still observing all protocol of the Covid-19 regulations, the Post Office was allowed to operate as an essential service for the sole purpose of rendering the payments of social grants to the qualifying social grant recipients. That meant all other services were suspended.

In Level 4, the Post Office was permitted to open up some of its services to customers provided they still maintained the rules and regulations of operating in terms of the Covid-19 regulations.

All post offices needed to then be deep cleaned, sanitised and made safe enough for the employees to return to work and also make it safe for our customers. With that, we felt that the George and Beaufort West hubs still need to be sanitised to the satisfaction of employees and that mail still needed to be sanitised.

It is for this reason unfortunately that the George branch remains closed for all services other than for the payment of social grants. The branch is due to be professionally cleaned within the next two weeks and we can confirm that, when all standards for the branch to reopen have been met, it will resume to fully operate.
