Catherine loves good food, conversation and long walks on the beach, so it was no surprise that she and the Crayfish Trail were the perfect match. Born and bred in the suburbs of Cape Town, Catherine had yet to encounter a place that embodies South Africa’s beauty, complexity and cultural richness quite like the West Coast. After five days of slackpacking, she left its shores inspired by the community interactions she had along the way.
