A whirl-winding adventure on the road less travelled

South Africa is beautiful, diverse and has all sorts of surprises. With that in mind, we took a 10-day road trip via Bloem to iMfolozi, iSimangaliso, Durban and Clarens. Our inspiration was Getaway, which accompanied us on this, our very first epic adventure.

Your suggestions were spot on. We did the croc-and-hippo tour and spent time on the beautiful beaches in iSimangaliso; we saw some of the Big Five in iMfolozi; we explored Durban beachfront, indulging in curry bunny chows which were hot but delicious! Golden Gate was spectacular and as described in your article, ‘a whirlwind of an adventure’.
