Pretty Pelican

I watched from a hide at Century City’s Intaka Island as this great white pelican preened itself. Fortunately, it was a dull and overcast day, so there wasn’t much light contrast even though it was midday. I opted for a tight crop to reveal the beautiful detail of the bird’s plumage.
