Maltese Silhouette
On my annual trip into the Cederberg mountains, I returned to the Maltese Cross and camped at its base. When I arrived, it was overcast so I decided to rest and check the weather at 7pm. I woke up to a clear sky and the Milky Way already beginning to glow in the ‘blue hour’ (twilight), with the silhouette of the cross looking down on me.
