An ocean bonanza
While clocking up my hours for my skipperʼs licence on the Garden Route, I was blessed by the sighting of six southern right whales and a pod of 300 or more bottlenose dolphins. The dolphins were in a joyful mood, jumping, spinning and surfing the waves. Two dolphins jumped in perfect synchronisation right in front of me and I saw the opportunity to capture a super shot with my Canon 800D. Both dolphins were midair with the beautiful Tsitsikamma Mountains of Natureʼs Valley as a stunning backdrop for these wild creatures.
