An unforgettable dream come true experience
As a Getaway competition winner, from the moment we arrived at Jock Safari Lodge we were treated like royalty by the friendly and attentive staff. Our luxurious private suite was the lap of luxury boasting its own viewing deck and an elegant outside bath with a view. Special mention goes to our kind, passionate and knowledgeable ranger, Janrich. My son and another young boy were kept entertained when he asked them interesting questions, and taught them all about the wildlife throughout our adventurous game drives.
We had fantastic animal sightings and enjoyed sundowners while watching the African sunset in the middle of the bush – nature truly at its best.
Another highlight was dining under a canopy of stars, surrounded by roaring log fires on the riverbed. The food was superb and the atmosphere was electrifying. Adding to this wonderful ambience were the Jock Safari Lodge team performing a special tribal dance while enthusiastically singing to end off a magical evening.
