CITY

Moscow – so much history, culture and art.

OCEAN

The Indian Ocean, for the colour, that turquoise blue and the wildlife.

DESERT

The Namib on the Skeleton Coast. To stand there and look out at the mist coming in off the Atlantic in that solitude.

RIVER

The upper Ganges before it gets heavily polluted. You get this fresh Himalayan water pouring down.

FJORD

Sognefjord in Norway, the longest unfrozen fjord in the world. It has these rising cliffs with little picturesque villages with houses painted all these different colours, waterfalls pouring off the mountains into the water.

FOREST

The kelp forest off Miller’s Point in Cape Town.

MOUNTAINS

The Rockies. I’ve hiked there and there is something very peaceful in those forests and beautiful lakes.
