A Thornybush dream trip

We went to Thornybush for a weekend in January – after winning a three-night stay through Getaway – and we had a wonderful time. With plenty of rain leading up to our visit, the grass was high and we didnʼt expect to see many animals. We were pleasantly surprised and, except for rhino, saw plenty of the other Big 5. Iʼve never seen so many leopard in such a short time! The wild dogs were an incredible bonus.

Our guide, tracker and housekeeper were just great. They really went out of their way to make the weekend special. I have thanked Thornybush for the stay but want to thank Getaway for giving us the opportunity to experience what we never would have been able to do otherwise.
