A most GLAMOUROUS affair
Inside our GLAMOUR’S Most GLAMOUROUS Awards event
it was all about the stars at one of the year’s most anticipated awards event – GLAMOUR’S Most GLAMOUROUS awards in association with Listerine Advanced White – took place on a warm and starry evening in May.
An annual celebration of all things fabulous, GLAMOUR’S Most GLAMOUROUS honours 10 stylish winners who epitomise the magical quality known as glamour.
Included on the guest list were stars like Liesl Laurie, Lalla Hirayama and DJ Black Coffee. And they did not disappoint on the red carpet: sparkles, lace and animal print were all present to complement the sophisticated venue, Summer Place in Joburg.
Our guests were welcomed by romantic fairy lights by De.light Function and Event Lighting, delicious canapés, cocktails by Rose’s and Pravda Vodka, and makeup touch-ups at the 3INA (Mee-na) makeup station.
Then it was time to head upstairs to the awards ceremony, which was masterfully Mc-ed by the amazing Proverb. GLAMOUR editor Pnina Fenster (wearing Marianne Fassler) was also on hand to announce the winners.
Listerine Advance White’s brand ambassadress, Sarie Liebenberg, announced a special award for the night: Most Confident Smile, which went to model Gabrielle van der Watt.
Then it was time to party the night away to the groovy tunes of DJ Kimmy K. Guests also had the opportunity to pose against the breathtaking flower wall courtesy of Listerine Advanced White, and to take home Glamcam photos. And then came sweet treats from performing food artists Ice Cream Ninjas, a Boulevard Nectar Rosé Brut fountain and flaring barmen.
Our GLAMOUR’S Most GLAMOUROUS winners are always spoilt top to toe, and this year they were spoiled by Listerine Advanced White, Pravda Vodka, 3INA, The Body Shop, Typo, Moroccanoil, Paul Mitchell, Rose’s, Daniel Klein, Camelot Spa The Regent, TIGI, Levi’s, Glampalm, Jo Malone, Biosense, Colette By Colette Hayman, Salon Only, Lipault and Makro.
Guests left the event with goodie bags filled with gifts from Listerine Advanced White, Pravda Vodka, 3INA, The Body Shop, Typo, Moroccanoil, Paul Mitchell, Rose’s and Glampalm.
