Salvatore began working as a teen, and ran his own business by 15. By 22, he had moved countries, set up shop and connected with stars on film sets. But at 42, he realised he had neglected an important part of life: love. His search for a wife involved the determination and passion he applied to his business. He travelled widely and met many prospective partners. None were successful. Until the day he visited his home town and met Wanda, 22 years his junior, and the inspiration for love at first sight. The couple went on to have six children, and Wanda continued to run the business after his death, maintaining his integrity and identity. Now 96, she never remarried.
