Tully

Glamour (South Africa) - - Guide / Chill Out -

Charlize Theron joins forces with her Young Adult creators (screenwriter Diablo Cody and director Jason Reitman) in yet another wonderful tale. Marlo, a frazzled and exhausted mother of three, with a near-absent husband, is close to a nervous breakdown – until her brother, Craig (Mark Duplass), saves her with an unusual gift: Tully (Mackenzie Davis) is a modern-day Mary Poppins, a one-woman marvel who provides cleaning, baking and wisdom. Wonderfully scripted and acted, Tully will resonate across the board, but especially if you struggle to maintain the many roles expected of contemporary women. ✪✪✪✪
