The 28-year-old rising star and MTV presenter shares her best-kept beauty secrets, skincare regimen and hair guide.
Glamour: Self-care is important. What’s the one ritual you’ll never compromise on?
Kim Jayde Robinson: Sleep. You need it in order to be 100%.
Glamour: Which part of your body do you love the most?
KJR: I have so much love for my booty.
Glamour: What makeup products are on your shopping list?
KJR: I have combination skin. By the end of the day, it starts to get shiny. To counter this, I use a translucent powder. On my lips, I wear (4) Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolour in Seduction (R185) .
Glamour: How do you get such glowing skin?
KJR: I wash my face twice to ensure it’s squeaky clean. I’ve also recently started using eye cream. I never believed the hype until I saw the results for myself. Try (3) Babor Skinovage Cooling Eye Gel (R784).
Glamour: How often do you go for beauty treatments?
KJR: I go for facial and waxing treatments religiously every month.
Glamour: Which skincare products do you swear by?

KJR: Sleep. Yes, you’ve heard it all before, but it works. It does wonders for your skin. Plus, drink lots of water, avoid fizzy drinks and invest in good skincare products .
Glamour: Which beauty products are currently in your bathroom?
KJR: Tissue oil for my stretch marks and (6) Molton Brown Intoxicating Davana Blossom Bath & Shower Gel (R380).
Glamour: What’s your go-to beauty look for day and night?

Glamour: What makeup trend do you love right now?
KJR: I’m obsessed with metallics. A hint of gold on the inner corner of my eyes, a silver shimmer under the brows and highlighter for a glow on my cheekbones.

Glamour: How do you keep your hair looking so good?
KJR: Regular trims keep it strong and healthy, and I always use a heat protector before blowdrying or straightening. Every second month, I’ll add a protein treatment to enhance the shine and retain strength.
