Success, to me, means that I’m achieving the goals that I set out for myself personally. So in that sense, I would say that it’s defined by self. I do love seeing people enjoy my performances and engaging with each other about my music online. It’s rewarding because it makes me feel like conversations are being had about something that’s important to me. Those conversations inspire me, regardless of whether they are positive or negative, there’s always something to take out of each discussion.
As females, there’s definitely things that separate us from the men in our industry, and I want to remove all those barriers that make me feel different and insignificant, so headlining my own concert is something that is extremely important that I want to fulfil.
