It wasn’t always smooth sailing for me while building my career. There were a lot of times when I questioned some of the risks we took and decisions we made. There were times where my confidence faltered, but my faith always pulled me through. Nothing worth having comes easy, this is why I appreciate every little setback, because that’s where valuable lessons were learnt. Now I’m able to leave a legacy for my children, create and contribute to society, and provide employment for hundreds of people.
My husband and soulmate, Shona Ferguson, is my biggest inspiration. He’s not afraid to dream big and pursue those dreams. He doesn’t shy away from hard work and embraces challenges. His faith and ability to motivate me to be nothing other than my best is what I admire most about him.
