ASANDA BEDA

We’re so dierent in our personalities and in the way we think, yet I always know that she’s got my back. Asa has the perfect dose of intelligence and goofiness. She is one of the most determined and courageous people I know. If you need something done, she’s the person to call because she gets things done and right, the first time around.

NONCEBA BEDA

I count myself amongst the luckiest to have been blessed with a mom like ours. My whole life I’ve had the most amazing role model in my mama. I can confidently say that all that is good about me is all from her. She’s always been there to inspire and help me find the best ways to become the woman I am. At her core, she is gratitude and love.

Radio host, entrepreneur and executive at events and marketing agency Dandelion Breeze, shares the

five women who have greatly impacted her life.

UNATHI NKAYI

I’ve always identified so much of myself in Unathi. We’re both profoundly rooted in culture, tradition and heritage while still navigating a modern world. She’s so solid. She’s the person you can call upon to chat when you’re facing a problem. I’ve had some of the craziest conversations with her where we laugh so hard we can hardly breathe. It’s amazing when someone just gets you.

THANDO THABETHE

She once had “You can’t stop my go” on her Instagram. Ain’t that the truth? I’ve watched her career climb so beautifully. I truly appreciate someone willing to put the eort behind their dreams the way she does. Although our aspirations may not be in the same industries or spaces, the idea that “you can’t stop my go” spoke to me then and still does now.

ZOLEKA MANDELA

Although I haven’t had the privilege of meeting Zoleka, I have tremendous respect for her story. She stepped into a space so private and shared it with us in a way that you can’t not be inspired. She taught me the value of owning your imperfections instead of being defined by them.
