Montecasino’sLongmeadow Function Venue was the place to be on the 1st of May, where music, fashion and food lovers pulled through to celebrate Worker’s Day – chillas style. And with Flying Fish owing in every form – from traditional ciders to cocktails – it was a day

not to be missed.

Nothing illustrates the spirit of a good ‘chillas’ more than great music, right? With some of SA’s favourite artists, including SAMA award-winning Shekhinah, Darkie Fiction, Blaq Kongo and DJ Uncle Partytime, the day was a jump of note – headlined by trap-house-jazz musician Masego.

After seeing how Flying Fish Flavour Chillas went down, we’re ready to host our own backyard chillas soon – and you can, too. Number one of the list: keep it fun, chilled and simple, with the beer that’s as avourful as you are: Flying Fish.
