“as at ease in the city as it is out on the open road”

-

The 18th-century songwriter Gustave Nadaud once wrote: ‘To stay is to exist, but to travel is to live’. What better way to do both than in Citroën’s C3 Aircross, which exudes French style, has a bold personality without being imposing, and a fresh attitude? Its recent Autotrader Car of the Year

2020 finalist nomination is testament to this. Designed for navigating the urban jungle or adventure travel, it has an increased ride-height, coupled with raised seating for the driver, and allows for confident driving and control on the road. As an ambassador for the Citroën Advanced Comfort programme, the C3 Aircross delivers total wellbeing and an extraordinary at-the-wheel experience.

the tech:

It’s as at ease in the city as it is out on the open road thanks to a range of technologies to make life easier in both environments. The C3 Aircross Compact SUV has several intuitive functionalities to make the driving experience seemless, such as store-in, non-stop connectivity and infotainment. This can all be accessed via a 7-inch touchscreen, considered the control centre of the vehicle. (With the Shine model, it’s also home to the airconditioning, radio, telephony and satnav controls.)

The Mirror Screen function, with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink, allows the driver to enjoy the multimedia content and apps on their smartphone in complete safety by replicating and controlling them via the touchscreen (again, this is only available with the Shine model).

the design:

The C3 Aircross’ interior design was inspired by creative industries, including furniture and fashion, the emphasis being on pure lines, protective forms and meticulous finishes. The unique body styling, on both its exterior and inside the cabin, delivers all-round comfort and spaciousness to the driver and their passengers – there’s extra legroom in the back, as an example.

It comes in White, Platinum Grey or Soft Sand, all of which include the gorgeous Spicy Orange colour pack, and is underscored by strong, graphic features, such as touches of colour on the roof bars and Venetian-blind-style rear quarter lights.

It’s fitted with 16-inch alloy wheels, and with the Shine model, stylish 17-inch, diamond-effect aluminium wheels are optional.

safety first:

Citroën has ensured the car’s safe by including a complete range of driverassistance systems, which include Driver Attention Alert, rear parking sensors and Hill Start Assist.

Keyless entry and start:

With the Shine model, a hands-free access and start system allows the driver to open and start the vehicle without using the key.

lane-departure Warning system:

At 60km/h and over, this function recognises drowsiness or loss of attention at the wheel, even if it’s for a brief moment. The system detects any accidental crossing of the road when the indicator isn’t activated and will alert the driver. pricing:
