Switch TO digital

With a digital subscription, you’ll never miss an issue of Glamour, GQ or House & Garden. Here’s how to get the latest issues – without leaving home – in just a few clicks.

01 Download the app

Visit the App Store or Google Play and download the free Zinio or Magzter app. If you’re browsing on a desktop or laptop, head to zinio.com or magzter.com.

02 Create an account

Once you’re on the app or web page, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner to create a new account. Once the form’s complete, you’re ready to shop.

03 Find your magazine

Search for Glamour South Africa, GQ South Africa, or Condé Nast House & Garden using the search icon at the top of the page. It’ll show you the latest and previous issues.

04 Buy it

When you select the latest issue, you’ll see two price options: one for that issue only and another for a one-year subscription. Online editions, for both single copies and annual subscriptions, are cheaper than in stores.

05 Check out

Once you’ve selected the latest issue or annual subscription, it’s time to check out. If you skipped the registration step, you’ll be prompted to do so now. You can then make a secure payment using a credit or debit card.

06 Your library

Once payment is successful, the magazine will appear in your library. Click on ‘My Library’ (or ‘My Collections’ on Magzter) at the top of your screen or the bottom of your device to display all of your purchased issues. If you opted for a subscription, the app will automatically update your library with a new issue as soon as it’s published. If you’re on a browser, it’ll appear in a downloadable format.

07 Ready to read

Your device must be connected to the internet to read or download your magazine. Click on the cover and select ‘read’ or ‘download’. Reading online requires you to remain connected to the internet; however, if you download the magazine, you can read it online or offl“ine.

08 Enough space?

Worried your downloaded magazines are going to take up too much space on your device? Fear not. You can archive your titles, which won’t permanently remove them from your library as you can download them again.

09 Reading options

You can read your download like a regular magazine or in a book-style, text format. For the text-only option, click on the ‘T’ icon on the right-hand side of your screen or the bottom of your device. Select an article from the list, then click on the ‘A’ icon to change the size. To switch back, click on the magazine icon, or ‘PDF View’. The text option on Magzter is ‘ezread’.
