Senyati Safari Camp
This camp is about 20 km southeast of Kasane and accessible from the A33 tar road. The road to the camp itself is quite sandy, but help is nearby should you get stuck. The highlight here is the elephants and other wildlife that congregate at the waterhole in the dry season. We’ve even seen wild dogs here! There are eight chalets and 20 camping stands.

Muchenje Camp
This value-for-money place borders Chobe National Park, near the Ngoma border post west of Kasane. It takes about an hour to drive here from Kasane.
It’s easily accessible in any vehicle, has views of the Chobe floodplain and elephants roam freely.

Chobe Water Villas
Planning a honeymoon? Blow the budget at this new luxury lodge. It’s in Namibia, so you first have to have your passport stamped at the Kasane immigration office. You can see the lodge when you go on a sunset cruise on the Chobe – it’s on the water with views of Sedudu Island.
