KWANDO RIVER

Nambwa Community Camp

About 20 km south-west of Kongola, on the western bank of the Kwando. You need a 4x4. The campsite has four stands and hot water but no power. Camping R195 per adult; R98 per child aged 6 – 12. Lots of animals move through the area and it’s considered one of the best birdwatching spots in the country. You can also visit Horseshoe Bend further south.
