Goo-Moremi Re­sort

It’s an hour’s drive (68 km) from Palapye. The tar road ends at the vil­lage of Moremi, af­ter which it’s only a cou­ple of kilo­me­tres of sandy gravel road. En­try fees: P60 (R83) per adult; P45 (R63) per child aged 6 – 15 (only day vis­i­tors pay park fees). P50 (R70) per ve­hi­cle (once-off).

Go on a guided walk into the Goo-Moremi Gorge. The re­sort near the gorge has five camp­ing stands: P200 (R279) per adult; P60 (R84) per child aged 6 – 15. Elec­tric­ity is avail­able and the kitchen and ablu­tion fa­cil­i­ties are ex­cel­lent. It costs R550 per night for two peo­ple, R250 per per­son per night for 3 – 8 peo­ple.
