The XC40 joins its older and bigger brothers the XC60 and XC90. Just like other Volvos, there will be two trim levels to choose from: R-Design and Momentum. There are also two engine options: D4 diesel and T5 petrol. Both will be all-wheel drive. The model range will be extended at the end of 2018 to include a D3 diesel, T3 petrol, T4 petrol and a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Volvo South Africa is keeping mum about prices for now, but they have revealed that the entry-level model will come in at under R500 000 and the most expensive XC40 will cost around R650 000. >
