Price Out of sea­son R300 p.n. per stand (4 peo­ple and 1 ve­hi­cle) and then R40 p.p. (max­i­mum 6 per stand). On long week­ends and hol­i­days, it’s R450 per stand. Then head south on the R43 through Her­manus and Stan­ford. It’s tar road all the way, but if you don’t mind some gravel road, take a short­cut through the beau­ti­ful Groot­bos Na­ture Re­serve (S34.541811 E19.403635). You don’t need to pay to drive through the re­serve, as it’s a servi­tude road. Clos­est town Gans­baai, 10 km.
