Black is back

This chic black number is the brainchild of Cape Town-based Tonga, and is essentially an empty trailer styled like one of those cool vans from the 70s and 80s. But there’s also a folding mattress, a slide-out kitchen up front over the A-frame, a built-in cooler box that slides out of the nose cone and a built-in 40 ℓ water tank.

The door at the rear forms the roof of the tent that you need to pitch behind the Tonga. This acts as a sort of foyer, as the panels provide some privacy. The box on the roof houses an awning that covers the entire caravan.
