The Thetford gas stove is another treat. You get three burners and a gas oven. The sink is next to it with a microwave oven about shoulder height.

If anything counts against the Alpine 2, it will be the 100 ℓ Dometic fridge. It’s a bar fridge and therefore small, but the big plus is the fridge can work with 220 V or 12 V electricity or gas.

The double bed comes in several iterations. Two single beds are arranged against the left and right panels. If you’re not using them for sleep, they serve as two large sofas. Should you prefer a double bed, a roller with slats as base unrolls from the nose side between the single beds. With the added cushions you then sleep crosswise. This is where you appreciate all the windows, you not only have a view out the top, but also to all sides except the back.

The lights work off the battery (a 12 V105 Ah deep cycle).
